Hong Kong
This was part of a trip to Hong Kong, New Zealand and Fiji. Hong Kong is an amazingly vibrant city which never seems to sleep; markets, bright lights, hotel rooms by the hour and Chinese restaurants with food I’ve never seen in Britain. Although Kowloon, the dormitory to the city, is on the mainland Hong Kong is formed from a group of islands in the South China Sea, the principal business island being Hong Kong Island; you may remember those old films with the Star Ferry making the crossing from Kowloon.
