The Lake District
The Lake District is the largest of England’s National Parks and situated in Cumbria, NW England. It is famous for its mountains, lakes and mountains.
All the land in England above 3,000ft lies within the National Park, this includes the highest mountain in England, Scafell Pike. It also contains the deepest and largest natural lakes in England, Wast water and Windermere respectively.
