Potsdamer Plaza, 1976.
The biggest transformation has got to be the Potsdamer Platz; now a showcase for urban renewal having previously had the life sucked out of it by World War 2 and the Cold War. In 1976 this was a wide desolate death strip which has now been totally rebuilt with imposing new buildings.
