Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge.
The Brooklyn Bridge is the world's first steel-wire suspension bridge. It is the first fixed crossing across the East River which connects Brooklyn to Manhattan. Construction started in 1869 and was completed fourteen years later in 1883.
